*Abstract: *The fly has its own elegance robed in wings so fine...
is all I can find, Andrew. My fly is more tawdry. I tried to fit in
'compound eyes' but the stress was wrong.
Ambrose Bierce is big on the fly, 'a monster of the air, owing allegiance
to Beezlebub' etc but I can't find the full entry online. It is from the
Enlarged Devil's Dictionary and also features on the back cover of Richard
Thompson's first solo album, Henry the Human Fly.
