(1) Travel Grants to Edmonton: Deadline Extended
The BSHS has already awarded many travel grants for the Three Societies Meeting in Edmonton in June 2016, but is prepared to consider making additional awards.
To apply for a travel grant, please send a brief email to the Executive Secretary, [log in to unmask], by Friday 5 February, with the subject heading "3-Societies Grant Application." In the body of the email, please (a) confirm your status as a member of the Society; (b) indicate your institutional affiliation (if any), and whether you're a postgraduate student, postdoctoral fellow, staff member etc.; and (c) indicate whether you've submitted a paper proposal for consideration at the Edmonton conference, and if so, please provide the abstract and any other relevant details.
Successful applicants will be notified by mid-February. Eligibility is restricted to members of the Society based outside North America. Only applicants who will be giving talks at the conference are now eligible.

(2) BSHS Undergraduate Dissertation Archive Grants 2016
The BSHS is delighted to invite applications to this scheme, which offers undergraduate students who are completing dissertations related to the history of science, technology and medicine the opportunity to consult archival records as part of their projects.
These awards of up to £250 are specifically designed to cover travel, accommodation and reprographics (or similar costs) associated with archival visits. The application form is available through the BSHS website, at http://www.bshs.org.uk/outreach-and-education/outreach-and-education-committee-grants. Please send completed forms and all enquiries to [log in to unmask] by the deadline below. Grant recipients will be invited to write a short account of their most exciting archival find for the BSHS magazine, Viewpoint.
The deadline for applications is 4pm on Friday 5th February 2016.
Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 4th March 2016.
