CILIP South West Member Network Member’s Day 2016: Emerging Technologies
Date and time: Monday 14th March between 9.30am – 3.15pm

The event will take place in the Rougemont Suite.
This free event will provide an overview of Augmented Reality practices and getting started with Coding. It is aimed at Librarians who are interested in learning about emerging technologies and how to start using them.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a tablet or mobile device with them so they can engage with hands-on activities.
The event will cover:
• An overview of these emerging technologies
• An opportunity to practice applying these tools
• Q&A session with a panel of expert.
The day will begin with the CILIP South West Members Network AGM. We would encourage participants to attend the AGMs and help to shape the next 12 months of our activities.

• Tabitha Witherick, Service Manager – Development (Somerset Libraries)
• Marie Salter, E-learning Technologist (University of Bath)
