SLA Europe is pleased to offer three opportunities for current European library and information science students and new professionals (those who have been working in the field for less than five years since qualification) to attend the 2016 SLA Conference.
SLA Europe is offering awards with three Divisions of SLA: Academic Division, Legal Division and Science-Technology Division (the Diane K. Foster Memorial Award). These Early Career Conference Awards provide valuable opportunities for new professionals in LIS to develop and establish themselves within their chosen sector.
The Awards allow winners to attend the 2016 SLA Annual Conference and INFO-EXPO in Philadelphia, USA, 12 – 14 June 2016 and cover all expenses including conference registration, hotel accommodation, economy return airfare to Philadelphia, and meals.
The deadline for applications is 19th February 2016 and winners will be notified in March 2016.
