If possible, can you please provide a reference for how the probtrackx distance correction option is calculated for DTI data in FSL?
From what I understand, the connectivity distribution between two ROIs is corrected for the distance between them according to the equation below:
Connectivity distribution for voxel A= l/N,
where l refers to the expected length of pathways that cross voxel A, and N refers to the number of samples that cross voxel A.
Is this correct and how is the expected length of pathways (l) calculated?
