Subject: CFP Proud in Europe?
Dear Panel Organizers,
We are very glad to announce you that the call for papers for the conference “Proud in Europe? LGBTI emancipation in comparative perspective” is now open and your panel is listed in the announcement. Please feel free to distribute the call for papers widely. Paper proposals must be made to a specific panel only via the online form<http://aissr.uva.nl/research/externally-funded-projects/sites/content13/europride/europride/europride/cpitem-3/link/papers> and not by email. The deadline to submit a paper proposal is March 31, 2016. In the beginning of April, we will send you all the paper proposals we received for your panel and we will ask you to choose which papers you want for your panel. Each panel session should consist of 3-4 papers. If there are many good submissions for your panel, we may consider two or, in exceptional cases, three sessions for your panel. It will be your responsibility to notify the paper presenters, whose proposals you accepted, and give them instructions about the format you want for your panel (e.g. whether and when they have to submit their paper, how much time they will have to present). Also, you will let us know which papers you cannot accommodate in your panel and we will communicate your decision to those scholars. In any case, all scholars should be notified about their paper proposal before the mid of April.
For more information about the conference, you can check the conference website<http://aissr.uva.nl/research/externally-funded-projects/sites/content13/europride/europride.html> and the attached call for papers.
Thank you very much for organizing a panel. We are very excited about the wide diversity of topics covered and look forward to the paper submissions!
Should you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email.
