Hi SPMers,
With regards to Neuromag 306 Data using SPM version 12 rev 6685, there are a few researchers at our facility with the same issues regarding the combine_planar function. Namely, it doesn't seem to matter where in our preprocessing pipeline we put the command, nor whether we define MEGPLANAR/MEG/MEGGRAD in the 'Prepare' module, we all still see the following error message:
Running job #7

Running 'Combine planar'

Failed: Combine planar
It might be important to add that we have not added any of the FieldTrip toolboxes when running MATLAB, so we assumed that this update of SPM calls on FieldTrip functions in a way that no conflict is arising. One way we are struggling to be self-sufficient is that there is no clear explanation of what an 'element' is in this context, nor do we understand the left/right hand assignment - we can only guess.
We really appreciate any advice or help that might elucidate our problem
Many thanks
Kelly
