I performed TBSS as described in FSL course manual and the papers.
When I read your paper (Smith et al, 2006), I have a one question.
Why would you select 0.3-0.6 as FA for making skeleton in your course manual?
There was discription about the lower limit of skeleton avoiding CSF or gray matter but not the upper limit.
I think that the body/genu of corpus callosum and the posterior limb of internal capsule can show 0.6-0.9.
I should not observe the posterior limb of internal capsule nor c.c. when I adopt 0.3-0.6, but I may get the result in the body of the c.c. from ANOVA after TBSS.
I may have read the previous mailing list that someone used high upper limit. But TBSS had not work with high upper limit.
I might have read in some paper or manual indictated that the high upper limit induced some influence for skeleton.
I do not fully remember the upper limit selecting FA for making skeleton and can not find the good paper.
I am grateful if you would tell me about the reason that you selected the upper FA limit for skeleton.
