Hello all,
The Museum of London’s Archaeological Archive is looking for experienced archaeologists and/or learning facilitators to help develop and deliver our archaeology programme for schools (KS2-5) and families
The Archaeological Archive is the biggest in the world, and contains information and artefacts for around 8,500 London excavations. This amazing collection offers children and young people the chance to get up close with London’s rich archaeology, and to learn the detective skills archaeologists need to piece together stories from the past.
We are looking for freelancers to deliver sessions at the Archive, at our two museum sites, and in schools/venues across London, including primary sessions, secondary school outreach projects and family events. We are particularly seeking individuals with an archaeological background and experience of working with schools and families.
We offer a fee of £160 per day.
For a full role description and further information on how to apply please contact Kathryn Creed, Archaeology Learning Programme Manager at [log in to unmask] by midday on Friday 29th January 2016.
