Dear Friends of Wisdom
As a member of the Friends of Wisdom group, I wonder if I can take the liberty of drawing attention to a new book of mine, which has just been published?
This latest book of mine is entitled 'Understanding the University' and concludes a trilogy of books on what it is to realize the university. (The trilogy offers some kind of culmination of a social philosophy that I have been developing over the past 30 years, a project which is very much in sympathy with the aims and interests of Friends of Wisdom.)
I attach a brief outline of this new book from the inside cover together with two flyers.
And two possibly helpful links are those of the publisher (Routledge) - https://www.routledge.com/products/9781138934054
- and of Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Understanding-University-Institution-possibilities-Foundations/dp/1138934054/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1450339564&sr=1-5&keywords=barnett+university
I'd be very happy if any member of Friends of Wisdom would like to be in touch with me at any time,
Very many thanks
