I'd just like to back this up - our IPv6 work is partly technical, but also partly a political matter of convincing others that using IPv6 is both practical and important to us. While it's quite possible to make the case that that doesn't necessarily mean that we have a technical requirement to make the website IPv6 accessible, it does make an impact. Indeed, one of the regular spots in Duncan's IPv6 status talks is to check the IPv6 accessibility of basic external facing services like University web servers.
Manchester has some IPv6 (the perfsonar boxes are IPv6 enabled), but while there have clearly been plenty of other things to think about while launching the new site, is there anything that would stop us doing this once things have settled down?
