An opportunity to study at both the Departments of Medicine and Computing is available at Imperial College London. Starting in October 2016, the studentship is part of the prestigious EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Neurotechnology for life and health and involves an initial MRes year, before registering for a PhD in year 2.
Our novel project focuses on using brain imaging and ageing biomarkers to predict biological age in the UKBiobank dataset. A systemic measure of biological age could have great utility in predicting health outcomes in the ageing population and will be implemented as a publich health tool.
