Dear all
We’re starting to plan for a future project to digitise a large number of photographs that were taken at the turn of the 19th/20th century. A fair few of these are unfortunately affected by silvering (confined to the edges on some but there are others where it has spread across a lot of the photo). So, we wanted to canvass any ideas/experiences/suggestions on the best way to photograph or light these, or any pitfalls that you can point out and help us to avoid.
Many thanks in anticipation of any help or advice you can give.
