A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Krzysztof Szalewicz
at the University of Delaware. The research will be focused on
computational investigations of intermolecular interactions including
development and numerical implementations of new theoretical methods,
as well as applications to van der Waals clusters, liquids, and molecular
crystals.
Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or physics.
Strong programming skills and expertise in large-scale calculations
(programming experience has to be described in the application) as well
as solid background in wave-function and density-functional electronic
structure theory are required. Only highly motivated applicants with a
strong track record of scientific productivity are encouraged to apply.
The position is initially for one year and is renewable annually based
on performance and upon mutual agreement. To apply, send a letter of
interest and a CV including list of publications and names of three
references to Krzysztof Szalewicz ([log in to unmask]). The review of
applications will start November 25, 2015, and will continue until the
position is filled.
