The BA Hons Filmmaking Programme at Manchester School of Art is a practice-based course with an art school ethos designed to help students experiment, innovate and expand their creative potential within all of the possibilities of filmmaking practice. With a strong craft, creative and conceptual approach our programme's curriculum design provides learners with the opportunities to explore specific roles and pursue interests in fiction, factual and artist filmmaking practices. We are actively
engaged in developing and expanding the practice of filmmaking.
We are looking for a full-time lecturer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a practising filmmaker with industry experience who has expertise in sound in addition to general production skills. You will be experienced in teaching at an HE level and understand the art school ethos. You will be willing and able to teach across a range of units and levels and be part of a vibrant team of film practitioner/teachers who are all research active.
