STUDIES IN SOCIAL HARM: Call for proposals
Series Editors: Christina Pantazis, University of Bristol, UK and Dr Simon Pemberton, University of Birmingham, UK.
Studies in Social Harm is a new series published by Policy Press providing cutting-edge research into the area of social harm. Contributions to the series investigate harms which are dominating contemporary social and political debate, including environmental harm, food production and safety, islamophobia, pharmaceutical harms, forced labour, and the injuries of neo liberalism. The series draws on a variety of disciplinary approaches and methods, such as criminology, geography, law, social policy and sociology. In doing so, the series seeks to move social harm towards a holistic field of study that aims to understand the production of harm within contemporary society.
We are inviting proposals and particularly welcome contributions focussed on:
Work - Poverty - Disease/Health - War and conflict - Crime/Criminal Justice - Financial
Markets - Recession/Austerity – Migration - Political Violence – Ethnicity and harm – Gender/Sexuality and harm - Age and harm
