Join us for the East Dunbartonshire's War main event of 2015. Meet the Gordon Highlanders living history group and listen to our storyteller reading extracts from a nurse's First World War diary. The Scottish Military Research Group will be on hand to give advice on researching First World War ancestors. For children there will be First World War workshop sessions and dressing up. You can also join 'Mr Chips' on a historical walk through Kirkintilloch's past. Vintage tea and cake will also be served.
