Hi Ananth,
this was discussed previously and if I remember correctly, the way to
achieve this is to multiply the input image with your masking image
manually, such that lesions are set to 0. The segmentation algorithm
will then disregard the lesion, which effectively achieves a similar
kind of cost function masking. As also mentioned before, the most
difficult step actually is to get appropriate masks in the first place.
