Hi Zoe
Agency work is fine but don't try and go it alone without experience. Get
in with a reasonably sized team in a big organisation if you can.
NHS/council/or OH provider are all fine but if you can get a junior post in
a team in industry then great. Fairly few and far between these days
though. Also be prepared to move every few years to a different area. I
moved every 3 - 6 years until setting up independently.
Best of luck.
Lindsey

Don't panic, you have plenty of time. I would recommend that you try gaining
agency experience. Getting into OH is not easy but there are lots of things
you can do to make yourself more employable.
You may be able to get some experience undertaking flu vaccinations. Getting
known in the specialty raises your profile. I have had several students who
have secured posts as a result of the contacts they make in that way. Gain
experience, skills and a qualification in spirometry - a useful email was
circulated re that earlier today.
