Salary: £38,511 - £48,743
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated statistician to provide leadership within the Primary Care Unit of the Department of Public Health and Primary Care including line management of one post-doctoral statistician and two more junior statisticians. The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Martin Roland, Professor of Health Services Research and Co-Director of the Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research (www.cchsr.iph.cam.ac.uk).
The post holder will be expected to contribute to grant applications, publish internationally excellent and world-leading research in high quality peer-reviewed journals and maintain an academic profile through presentation of research at national and international seminars and conferences. The appointment will be made at Senior Research Associate level subject to approval by the Faculty Board.
We invite applications from candidates with a good first degree (2.1 or equivalent) and PhD in statistics or related area or with equivalent experience, experience of research in the health care sector, ability to analyse and write up data for publication and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
