Dear Ellie,
I've yet to harvest all the numbers. Our JR1 figures from JUSP show a modest increase. However, we have seen BR2 drop precipitately for one vendor. An explanation is overdue.
It could be due to a number of factors. COUNTER release 4 may be having an effect. Have you spot checked if 2013/14 figures have also dropped since you reported to SCONUL last year? Users are more time constrained and we have a lower FTE population, so I might expect a slight drop in usage.
Kind regards,

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Usage stats for full text downloads
Dear all,
I am in the process of accumulating usage statistics for our JR1 compliant resources for a report and notice that the number of full text downloads in 2014/15 is considerably down on the previous year. I have been unable to identify obvious reasons why the decrease may have occurred.
Has anybody else been encountering similar variations in usage?
Any responses would be gratefully accepted.
Many thanks
Ellie.
