Dear colleagues, Jean SOULAT, a french researcher ask me a question. He study the combs of tortoise shell dated to 17th-18th centuries in Western Europe and their connection with the Caribbean and North America. He made an inventory of objects but he have no data yet for sites that had delivered tortoise shell remnants. He search now for publications on the subject in this large geographical area, trying to make the link between the Caribbean and Europe in connection with the delivery of this exotic material. Any data are wellcomed. Many thanks in advance, best regards, Olivier.
