POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE POSITION
NEUROIMAGING OF WORKING MEMORY

The lab of Kartik Sreenivasan at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to conduct functional MRI studies of working memory. Applicants with a strong neuroimaging background and interest in working memory, attention, or cognitive control are encouraged to apply.
The position will be at the New York campus of New York University’s Global Network and will be co-mentored by the principal investigator, Professor Kartik Sreenivasan of NYUAD, and Professor Clay Curtis of NYU. The position is fully funded for a period of two years; renewal beyond this time frame may involve relocating to Abu Dhabi. Professor Sreenivasan is establishing a research program at NYUAD with the objective of uncovering the neurobiological basis of working memory. This research program focuses on dynamic coding of information within different brain regions as well as interactions between brain networks.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field. A strong background in functional MRI and statistical inference, including experience with multivoxel pattern analysis and connectivity analyses, is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong computational skills and have experience with Matlab, Python, or equivalent programming languages and will have a strong publication record in the field of working memory.
