Qualitative Researchers - Organisational Case Study Research (2 posts)
Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Oxford
Grade 8: £38,511 - £45,954 p.a. (pro rata for part-time)
The Health Experiences Research Group within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences is seeking two experienced and motivated qualitative researchers to conduct organisational case study research. This excellent opportunity arises from a new National Institute for Health Research study led by Professor Louise Locock, evaluating how NHS frontline medical ward teams use different types of patient experience data for service improvement.
You will hold a PhD in a social science with substantial post qualification research experience, a strong record of publishing applied qualitative research in peer reviewed journals, have proven experience of applied research within a healthcare setting, and familiarity with patient-centred care and quality improvement. Excellent analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders are essential. Familiarity with case study research, observational methods and realist evaluation are desirable.
The posts are available full-time, fixed-term for 2 years. Part-time working will be considered.
The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 14 October 2015. We plan to hold interviews on 30 October 2015.
