This year's CHAT (Contemporary and Historical Archaeology in Theory) conference is in Sheffield from 30th October to 1st November.
The theme of the conference is ‘Together’. It is inspired by Richard Sennett’s book of the same name, in which he examines the sociology of co-operation, and specifically the skills of living and working together.
Twenty-five speakers from around the world will address this theme, considering case studies of co-operation in the past, the relationships formed between researchers and communities, and the role of interdisciplinary working in contemporary and historical archaeology.

Registration Deadline: 16th October
