I know that some conference presenters find the idea of people tweeting
their presentation uncomfortable, for a lot of reasons. Since every
library conference I've been to has had tweeting it's a good idea to
make it clear up front if you don't want it. You can't really stop it
but I'm sure people will respect your wishes.
For my part I really like conference social media. Live tweets and blogs
help me to follow events I can't make in person or keep up with parallel
sessions.
