What: ESRC Seminar: Physical Activity Among Hard to Reach Groups: Issues for Research, Policy and Practice
When: Thursday 12th November, 2015
Where: Brunel University, Uxbridge
More info: http://seminars.ecehh.org/hard-to-reach-groups Direct link to registration: http://bit.ly/1E88lZy
This seminar will focus on the challenge of engaging older people from hard to reach groups in physical activity. It will examine the extent to which diversity is recognised in national policy guidance for promoting physical activity among older adults, and consider the experiences of those with long term conditions and sheltered accommodation.
Seminars are free to attend. Travel and accommodation bursaries are available to students and ECR's.
This is the forth seminar in the ESRC Series 'More of the same is not enough': New directions in ageing and physical activity http://seminars.ecehh.org and is being led by Professor Christina Victor.
