Customer Services Group UK Annual Conference -17th November 2015
Save the Date and Call for Speakers
Plans are well underway for this year’s CSGUK annual conference. This will be the group’s third annual conference (and its second as a national group), with the previous two conferences being sell-out events. This year the conference returns to King’s College London’s Great Hall on Tuesday 17th November; booking will be open next month and we encourage you to reserve the date in your diary.
This year’s conference title is ‘Moving beyond engagement: involving customers in the design and delivery of services’.
Two years ago CSGUK’s first conference focused on engagement (both staff and customer), but while engagement is still vital the current customer service conversation is all about working with our customers as partners. How can we work with customers to move beyond asking their opinion and empower them to shape their services? What benefits are there in involving customers in delivering a wide range of services (beyond basic tasks)?
This year’s conference will also incorporate feedback from previous CSGUK conferences that has told us that you enjoy hearing from speakers outside the sector as well as directly from our customers.
Do put the date in your diary and look out for a booking email next month for what is sure to be another sell-out event.
Call for speakers
We already have some exciting speakers lined up, and are now seeking further contributions:
· Do you involve your customers in the design of services in any innovative ways? Do you have any customers who would be willing to speak, either on their own or with you to demonstrate your partnership?
• Are any of your customers involved in delivering your services, and has this enhanced your service offering? Do you have any customers who would be willing to speak, either on their own or with you to demonstrate your partnership?
· Have you been inspired by any collaborations you have observed outside of the sector, and have any ideas or contacts for speakers?
If you can answer yes to any of the above questions we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for people able to speak solo or as part of a duo or group. Slots will include:
· In depth presentations for 30-60 mins
· Speed speakers (2-10 mins)
· Workshops focusing on gaining a practical understanding of techniques
All of your ideas are welcome as we seek to deliver another interesting and innovative conference. If you are interested in speaking please contact [log in to unmask]
With best wishes
