Hi
Yes it was me who posted last week. I had an issue with lost searches as well as an error message. With the lost searches because of the delay in sorting out a solution I got the user to create a new account and from then on the searches they saved seemed to be ok but they still lost their original searches so this not an adequate work around for somebody who has saved a lot of searches.
I am wondering if there was a data migration and some of the data was lost but nobody has said this to me so it could be a wild hypothesis. Given that a few of us have experienced problems a more general communication from Ebsco may have been helpful.
Regards
Vicki

Subject: Re: [lis-e-resources] Problem with EBSCOhost personal folders
Hi Satu,
We had a similar problem with a student's My EBSCOhost account which we reported to EBSCO in March and again in June. The student in question was able to log in to their My EBSCOhost account and save searches but then was not able to retrieve any saved searches from their folder. After a lot of to-and-fro with the EBSCO support department our call was passed onto their development team who are now looking into this issue. It has been with the development team for a month now with no progress and it is still unclear why this has happened.
I know this came up on the Lis-e-resources mailing list last week and Staffordshire University reported similar issues.
Best wishes,
Kimberly

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Problem with EBSCOhost personal folders
Hi everyone,
Is anyone else having issues with using the Saved searches and Saved Results folders in their EBSCOhost databases? We first reported this problem to EBSCO in May when we were assured that this problem was on the priority list with the IT Support. It is now August and our students and staff are going spare.
