Subject: Dewey Decimal and understanding numerical order for students
Dear All,
Has anybody ever come across a guide for FE and HE students on how to read and make sense of a Dewey Decimal classmark?
I have found that one of the most common things that students struggle with is understanding numerical order and I'm not sure of a simple way to explain this to them.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks very much,
Benelia Salmon
