ASM Announces 2016 Subscription Rates and New Package Offering
The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) is pleased to release 2016 subscription prices. Libraries can select from our All-Inclusive, Basic, and Clinical packages to provide access to authoritative coverage of microbiology research. 2016 rates can be found at http://journals.asm.org/site/subscriptions/instcost.xhtml.
The All-Inclusive Package now includes access to five new titles:
* EcoSal Plus, a continuously published online journal featuring expert reviews on virtually all aspects of E. coli, Salmonella, and other members of the Enterobacteriaceae family.
* Journal of Microbiology & Biology Education (JMBE), an open-access, online education journal for microbiology and biology educators.
* Microbiology Spectrum, a bimonthly online journal featuring continuously published collections of commissioned peer reviewed articles covering 10 topic areas of microbiology.
* mSphere, a new open-access, pan-microbiology journal that will focus on rapid publication of fundamental contributions to our understanding of microbiology.
* mSystems, a new open-access journal that will publish cutting-edge advances in research associated with metabolic and regulatory systems.
Beginning with January 2016 issues, Applied and Environmental Microbiology (http://aem.asm.org/), Infection and Immunity (http://iai.asm.org), Journal of Bacteriology (http://jb.asm.org), Microbiology and Molecular Biology Reviews (http://mmbr.asm.org) and Molecular and Cellular Biology (http://mcb.asm.org/) will transition to online-only titles. Print back volumes are available for purchase.
Eukaryotic Cell (EC) will merge with the new open-access journal mSphere(tm) in 2016. Legacy EC contact will remain accessible at http://ec.asm.org.
ASM Journals (http://journals.asm.org) continue to publish cutting-edge research covering all major areas of the microbiological sciences. The recently released 2014 Journal Citation Reports confirm that ASM continues to be the authoritative source of high-impact research in microbiology:
