Subject: UKCASA communication - Invitation to meeting with Foreign Affairs Select Committee
Dear colleagues
The Houses of Parliament’s Outreach Service has written to ask if member associations would be interested in taking part in an event they are holding with the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, in London on Monday 12th October.
The event is an informal reception designed to encourage early-career area studies and international studies researchers to engage with the work of the Committee. The event will feature members of the Committee, provide attendees with an opportunity to find out more about their work, as well as a chance to network.
We hope this event will be of interest to your members and networks. The event is likely to be an early-evening event and I will send further details as soon as I receive them.
Regards
Tony Chafer
