The 14th Mathematics of Networks meeting (MoN14) will be held at the
Harris Lecture Theatre, Oriel College, University of Oxford, on Monday
21th September 2015. This meeting will have the theme spatially
embedded networks. Venue details are here:
http://www.oriel.ox.ac.uk/content/harris-lecture-theatre, and the
meeting website is http://www.monmeetings.org/meeting14/ .
The meeting is in conjunction with the new EPSRC-funded project entitled
Spatially Embedded Networks led by Justin Coon (Oxford) and Carl
Dettmann (Bristol), and so talks related to this theme will have
priority; there is an overview of the project at
http://www.eng.ox.ac.uk/sen/about.html. But talks on other aspects of
networks will be considered too. We thank Justin Coon for acting as
local host.
If you would like to present a talk at MoN14, please submit a title and
a short abstract by Friday August 14. Please email abstracts to Keith
Briggs ([log in to unmask]) and Richard Clegg
([log in to unmask]). Registration for audience members is
required for catering numbers, and is now also open. Attendance is
free of cost.
MoN is an informal series of meetings that has now been running since
2003. The series encourages interdisciplinary communication in
networking research. It is an excellent venue for presenting new ideas
or gaining a wider audience for established research. Presentations on
any aspect of networking are welcomed, particularly if the techniques or
conclusions are applicable in other networking disciplines.
