**Apologies for cross posting***
Dear all
Thank you to all of those that replied to my message. I received lots of helpful information about the ways that the role of clinical librarian is being shaped.
The main themes that emerged from the responses are:
• Attendance at ward rounds, key meetings and education sessions
• Provision of training eg critical appraisal, literature searching, information skills
• Provision of current awareness, monthly evidence updates, and horizon scanning
• Organising/supporting journal clubs
• Providing literature searches
• Supporting guideline/protocol development
• Working with the communities of practice (COPs)
• Support for CPD of clinical librarians
Regards
Sarah
