Some newer FSL tools like eddy or bedpostX use parallelization (or even
GPUs), however it is often not a simple task to recode single threaded
applications to use OpenMP. Generally though, people are processing
multiple subjects at a time, so the easiest way to parallelize things is
to process these subjects in parallel.
