Vacancy Title: A2281R - Research Assistant
You will work closely with Dr Mark Pearce (radiation epidemiology theme lead) on a study assessing the potential radiation-related risks associated with mammography screening in the UK and Brazil. You should have a good undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area. A Masters degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area is essential as is formal training in epidemiology or statistical methods if not part of a UG or PG qualification. In addition you should have experience of statistical software, setting up data sets ensuring data quality and data analysis. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality as well as be able to work flexibly and co-operatively with others is also essential.
