Dear MCgers,
A wonderful and long-awaited opportunity to introduce the list to Dr Winfried Bergmeyer of the Computer Game Museum in Berlin. In my experience, there is almost nothing Winfried doesn't know about displaying arcade games, consoles, MAME boards etc so that they are safe but playable.
There's a website for the museum at http://www.computerspielemuseum.de/1210_Home.htm and you can contact Winfried via LinkedIn or his contact page (http://www.computerspielemuseum.de/1288_Contact.htm).
All best,
Nick

Hi,
I had a similar idea once and always thought they should be fairly easy to get considering high street stores often have this sort of set-up, I did a quick search for secure games console display cases and got a few results.
This place in Canada seems to be about right, I'd guess there must be somewhere in the U.K

Subject: [MCG] Video games exhibition
Hello MCGers,
I'm working on an exhibition in which I'm planning on displaying playable examples of retro videogame consoles.
Would anybody be able to recommend any cabinets suitable for displaying these consoles in a secure way - so that they are visible, but not accessible? The controllers need to be accessible, but ideally I'd like the consoles themselves to be protected from any tampering.
Any pointers much appreciated!
Thanks,
Roger
