The University of Auckland has just put out an advert for a full-time fixed-term teaching position for next year (February to November 2016). This would be a nice position for someone looking to spend nine months or a year in New Zealand.
Professional Teaching Fellow in Social Anthropology

The Disciplinary Area of Anthropology is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate for a nine-month fixed-term contract (covering semesters 1 and 2) as a full-time professional teaching fellow in social anthropology for 2016 academic year. The contract term will be from 15 February 2016 to 30 November 2016.
The appointee will possess a PhD in sociocultural anthropology and be expected to have research and teaching expertise in core areas of social or cultural Anthropology. They will convene and teach four courses across the teaching year. Possible courses include: Introduction to Social Anthropology (Stage 1), Anthropology of the Body (Stage 2), Anthropological Theory and the Contemporary World (a graduate seminar class), and a Stage 2 course based on the candidate’s areas of specialism. Teaching will be conducted on the City Campus of the University of Auckland.
