Hi Juliette and Panel -
Thank you, Juliette, for mentioning our Streaming Museum project.
To address your definitions of experience, my closest connection to the 'curating process' being discussed is through my experience as an artist, especially in my daily drawing practice.
I don't have any insight on how to curate a stream of works as they are made. My best response to my own production has been to share the feed of my creative output online (iclock.com). I offer that as a raw data stream.
I finish each drawing but the process itself is ongoing and open ended.
I have made software art and appreciate how media work has an immaterial quality (which I find totally appropriate for some ideas) but these days I also value highly the persistent and information dense visual and tactile feedback of gouache on paper.
To further my process, I choose persistent imagery and employ computer technology for 3D modeling/CNC/programming to amplify and explore more dimensions of the pieces. Even though no screen is present, I still think of these larger works as having a digital aspect since at one point in the process they were all digital.
Thanks to everyone for the community discussion,
JFSjr
