Dear Colleagues,
Anglia Ruskin University offers up to 20 PhD studentships in the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences, which includes our programmes in English Language and Linguistics (http://www.anglia.ac.uk/study/postgraduate-research/english-language-and-linguistics) and English Language and Intercultural Communication (http://www.anglia.ac.uk/study/postgraduate-research/english-language-and-intercultural-communication).
My colleagues and I are very happy to discuss any ideas for PhD projects (including variationist topics); links to our profile and expertise can be found here: http://ww2.anglia.ac.uk/ruskin/en/home/faculties/alss/deps/english_media/staff/staff_by_subject.html
The deadline for applications is 01 June 2015 and applicants must clearly state on their application form and cover letter that they wish to be considered for a studentship. Please note that the studentship covers fees only and only applies to full-time study.
Please forward this message to anyone you think might be interested.
Best wishes,
Bettina
