Bruce, Love the typo - "in fine art. the creative process is not always LINER, as it is in animation and motion graphics." Though there are some exceptions, a conceptual artwork often becomes an object with all of the different accompanying protections and limited access when it is purchased. The circulation of video tapes purchased by institutions raised the questions of data/object. The display of a participatory work by Yoko Ono where the artist and the gallery/museum forbids participation is another example of conceptual/processual implosion.
