I'm interested in finding out whether any other academic libraries are offering webinars or web conferencing as a standard delivery method for their students using Adobe Connect or any other software. We recently did some online webinars and are investigating how/if this type of software is being used in other academic libraries.
Ideally I would like to find out:
1. If you regularly offer this format of teaching/instruction for your users
2. Which software do you use?
3. What type of topics do you cover, e.g. referencing, database demos, etc.
4. How you promote these sessions to students and staff across the institution
5. What is your attendance rate for these sessions.
But any feedback or information about your experience with this would be very useful.
