The University of Greenwich Work and Employment Research Unit (WERU) would like to invite you to a seminar on “Alternative Economic Strategies to Resolve Global Inequalities.”
In this seminar we will hear from two labour economists on the causes of the global economic crisis and proposals for how this crisis might be resolved.
Our speakers are,
Professor Ozlem Onaran (University of Greenwich) who will present on: The Case for a Coordinated Policy Mix of Wage-led Recovery and Public Investment.
Dr Matt Vidal (King’s College London), who will speak on: Overaccumulation, Centralization of Capital, and the 2007-8 Financial Crisis.
