Dear colleagues
On Wednesday 17th June at 12.30pm (NOTE EARLIER TIME THAN USUAL), John Dales will share his thoughts about segregation and shared space.
Our questions to John were:
• Segregation – Dutch, Danish or “light”? Is there a best option for the UK?
• What is the impact of shared space schemes on cycling?
Now, we could have asked John to look at either segregation or shared space but where’s the fun in that? We know he’ll rise to the challenge.
John is a Director of Urban Movement and Chair of the Transport Planning Society, amongst many other things.
Details and booking are here: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/transport-institute/events.
Also available on the events page are footage and slides from Dr Glen Koorey’s talk on 1st May about hi-vis, together with materials from most previous meetings.
I hope we’ll see you in June.
Best wishes
Tom
