Lecturer Grade 7 Salary Range £33,242 - £37,394 per annum
The University of Glasgow seeks applications for the above academic post from outstanding candidates to pursue a world-class research programme in Statistics, teach Statistics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and engage in outreach activity to explain and promote Statistics to a wide audience.
This full time post is funded for a two-year period from The Mitchell Bequest, given to the University with the specific aim of public outreach in Statistics. This new opportunity is aimed at a dynamic early-career researcher who, as well as pursuing research in one of the Statistics group's areas of focus and contributing to teaching, will develop a public engagement agenda to promote understanding of the aims of the subject of Statistics, within and outwith the University of Glasgow and in Scotland more widely.
