We are delighted to invite you to King’s College London for the 2015 Burwalls meeting, a historical annual meeting for all current and new teachers of medical statistics to undergraduate or postgraduate students in medicine, nursing or health care professionals.
The aim of the meeting is to encourage and equip those responsible for teaching medical statistics and evidence based medicine, and is the only event of its kind in the UK. The meeting is also an opportunity to meet/network with others working in the same area, find out what other medical schools are doing and pick up a few tips. It was held for many years at Burwalls in Bristol but is now peripatetic.
This year invited speakers include Professor Janet Peacock (King’s College London), Professor Sue Todd (University of Reading), Dr. Philip Sedgwick (St George's University of London) and Dr. Jenny Freeman (University of Leeds). The detailed programme will be available on the website (http://medstats.org.uk/Burwalls2015.html) in due course .
Costs are similar to last year, £200 for non-residential delegates (includes all meals) and £300 for residential delegates (includes all meals and accommodation for 2 days within Guy’s campus (London Bridge)).
Please register at http://estore.kcl.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?compid=1&modid=2&deptid=17&catid=16&prodid=504
