Dear all
I am hoping you can help me with a request for information about the use of referral criteria.
At Westminster, we have two examination periods. The main one in May and a subsequent one in July for referrals. However, there is referral criteria such that only those students with marks in the range 30-39 are allowed to redeem their modules failed in the referral period. All those with marks below 30 are required to repeat the module in the subsequent session and are not able to redeem through referral.
Do any of you operate with referral criteria in a similar fashion? If you do, I would be grateful for details and in particular, how you manage attempt numbers.
Regards
Kathleen
