Realizing the true potential of behavioural science approaches to policy and practice will depend on a sober, critical appraisal of its application and potential unintended consequences. This seminar will explore ethical tensions implicit in many behaviour change approaches and compares insights from Behavioural Economics with the many alternative forms of evidence and insight currently in use in marketing, communications, advertising and co-design practices.
