The list will always contain trolls, but we do not have to be affected by them.
It is possible to set one’s email preferences so that emails from certain list members are deleted upon arrival. Using this feature makes reading list correspondence much more tranquil.

Designers are supposed to be competent and responsible.
Designers are supposed to know how to do stuff.
Designers are also supposed to know a lot of other things, including historical issues.
