The Department of Media at Coventry University has a long-sustained reputation for innovation and enjoys a rapidly rising profile. It has established a highly distinctive ‘Open Media’ approach towards its teaching, research and professional practice and offers exciting undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering digital media, media and communications, journalism, media production and photography.
This is an opportunity for proactive individuals who can demonstrate an ability to make a distinctive contribution to our teaching. We are seeking to build our pool of visiting/hourly paid tutors who have interesting and teaching and research specialisms and/or active are professional practitioners to join our thriving innovative courses.
Applicants should ideally be qualified to Masters Level, or have equivalent professional experience. In addition, applicants will ideally have a proven track record of delivering a first-class student experience within a higher education environment, having been actively engaged in teaching, or teaching support.
This advert is seeking applicants with specific expertise in the following broad areas; Creative Digital Media; Multi-media /Digital Journalism; Media and Communications; Media Production; Photography, who are interested in working with the media department on a visiting/ hourly paid basis.
